The article certainly makes a convincing argument that the Canucks were smoking something funny when they signed Lu's 12 year deal. Thoughts?

Although Luongo's contract may be questionable, I think it's a little ridiculous that the league would be able to revoke a contract after the first year. They had their chance to evaluate it last season and chose to let it go. They may investigate, but I don't think that they can legally do anything at this point in time. I don't agree with these long term contracts and believe the league should not condone them, but it's too late to void Luongo's contract.
