Previous Updates

Here shall remain the updates of yore... This front page will hold all updates from the current year. Previous archived years are:

Updates from 2004
Updates from 2003
Updates from 2002
Updates from 2001
Updates from 2000

The sole purpose of archiving the updates is for future reference; I only wish I had done this when Daren's eMenagerie-Daren's WebDomain-The Known Universe-The Little Sputnik first came into being.

A whopping 9 months since my last update. Over a year since I actually put up any content. I have been busy, but I'd be lying if I said that's the whole reason why I haven't updated this space.

In my defence, I've been spending the last 4 months trying to find blogging software that would allow me to update this page automatically, and preferrably by email. So far, I haven't found anything that works to my satisfaction, but evaluating this sort of stuff is difficult. If anyone has any suggestions, please convey them to me on The Soapbox.

Content!

I updated the rowing section, and added a couple of pictures to the photo album's Life After School section. Er, at least, I was about to, until I found out that a) Picassa doesn't allow for auto-thumbnail creation and b) Picassa doesn't even edit your originals, but creates a copy of the changes; a good idea for people who just mindlessly download pictures off their camera then send them to the photo developer, but a pain in the ass for me.

I'll get the pictures up later this week. So close, yet so far.

Okay, 4 months since my last update. Just so everyone knows, I am:

a) still alive

b) still employed

c) still living at home

d) still rowing

This weekend is the Beat the Beast competition, that annual pain-fest at St. George's centered around a bunch of medieval death machines (ergometers). I posted a new PB last November of 6:50.2, but it's rather uncertain if I'll be close to that on Saturday. I'm not quite feeling myself, something about still wanting to be on vacation.

Speaking of which.

This last Christmas (the first Christmas After School, and of my Working Days), I went down to San Francisco with Corree. Pictures to come.

Is it just me, or is winter weather really starting to get crazy? There's 19 feet (FEET!) of snow in Nevada.
